Let Me Tell Ya 'Bout My Best Friend

The thing I love most about photographing weddings is the relationship I get to have with my couples. Every once in a while we connect on another level; that is Andi and Scott, now Mr. and Mrs. Kuhl. And if you met them too you would understand. They are so goofy, so genuine, so in love. Scott couldn't keep his hands off Andi during their entire CATHOLIC ceremony! But in a cute, sweet way and not a "ew gross get a room guys" kind of way. Every touch, every look, is meaningful. The two of them have their own handshake for goodness sake!

Their wedding day was the hottest of the year so far. The news was even telling everyone to stay inside due to excessive heat. The party bus they had rented broke down so they sent another one...with no air conditioning. That's enough to put a damper on, much-less ruin, anyone's best day ever; but not Scott and Andi. Honestly, their attitude was actually better than most on a perfect 75 degree, late afternoon photo session. From their photos you would never know it was middle of the day, direct, blazing sun. Scott even opted to keep on his jacket after being reassured by Andi (and myself) that it would be more than ok if he didn't wear it. Nothing was going to bring them down on their wedding day! Scott only wants the best for Andi and it shows. No one else in the world existed to either of them during their photo time together. I hope everyone gets to experience an Andi and Scott kind of love. It's infectious, happy and the kind that makes everyone around them better people. I mean, when a couple takes time out of their WEDDING DAY for Chik Fil A, you have to know they're the best!

Andi and Scott, I truly can't thank you enough for allowing us the absolute honor of being a small part of your amazing day! I hope you love these as much as I do!
