Recipe for Love

Sorry I'm not sorry about my mostly-cheesy titles, I love them!

What else do I love? My couples. They are seriously the best, and I could NOT be more grateful.

Meet Sam and Kayla (and Norah, who is literally a model baby, like seriously, she smiles on command and she isn't even two!). The love they share is so unique and one of my favorites. Sam is a chef (see what I did with the title? ;-) ) who is SO creative. He was explaining a certain slide and immediately without hesitation picked up a few sticks to give myself and Kayla visual. Who thinks of that?! He also doesn't really let Kayla be apprehensive about anything; like at all. If I brought up an idea and she seemed hesitant for even a split second, Sam immediately prepared himself for said prompt without giving Kayla a choice (which she killed it anyway so she had so reason to be nervous). But that's why they're perfect. Kayla is SUCH a detailed-oriented, organized thinker. She loves to know what's going to happen and how. Which as a photographer I TOTALLY appreciate. She wasn't afraid to ask for direction and make every shot perfect.

Let's talk about Norah for a minute. She is the most amazing blend of her parents; not only in looks but also personality. Norah did anything I asked her to. Which I was dumbfounded by because not even my own child is as photo-ready as Norah. Ask her to smile, she smiles. Ask her to kiss Daddy, she puckers right up. She stood exactly where I asked her to, and you may want to sit down for this, SHE STAYED PUT! Like, where do kids like this come from and where can I get one?! Her awesome parents that's who. Both of them are doting parents but at the same time show her how to be independent.

I had such a blast driving around Forest Park chasing the blooms and sunshine with the soon-to-be Miano family, it just doesn't get much better.

Kayla and Sam, thank you for allowing me to play with your sweet Norah and spending a rare evening off together with me! I hope you love you photos as much as I do, you two are too fun!
