Love At First Sip

Hey friends! So it's no secret that basically every Missourian has had seasonal affective disorder (appropriately abbreviated SAD) since we basically live in Winterfell (Game of thrones reference for those who aren't nerds like myself). With that being said, I am SO blessed to have couples that indulge my mild obsession with trying to photograph them in the best weather possible. This hasn't been an easy feat and I've had some REAL troopers who (due to time constraints) have had their sessions in the freezing cold or overcast conditions. So with this in mind, Wen and Peter were more than happy to switch their session date to the day before with basically twenty-four hours notice.

Anywho, I do have to say that my perception of online dating as changed drastically with the amount of amazing couples I've met who have met through such service. Peter and Wen met online even though they were both students at Washington University. So where do college kids go to meet? Starbucks of course! A couple after my own heart!

From the first few moments of our consultation I could tell that Wen and Peter are in the sweetest type of love. They shared with me that we basically just love being together; cooking, going to dinner, and even heading to the gym. Unlike most Millennials however, they don't have a ton of photos together...until now! And Peter is putting the stereotypes of "today's men" to shame by being a total gentleman. He carried Wen over a wet area with quite a few puddles. Seriously, just swooped her up like it was no big deal. I was in awe; and still was while editing their photos! Like, that only happens in the movies people!

Peter and Wen, I can simply NOT wait until your gorgeous Botanical Gardens wedding next month! You two are SO sweet and super fun (not to mention doing anything I asked, which included over a half mile walk in high heels for poor Wen)!

Thank you for being flexible so we could have THE PERFECT WEATHER! Seriously though. Forest Park had people literally just sitting in random places soaking up the sun like iguanas in Cancun. It was incredible.
