Movin' On Up

I'm not sure if it's been cabin fever, or if everyone is just tired of being so dang cold but I've noticed a lot of negativity essentially everywhere lately. So when I got to hang out with Allie and Sam in their (phenomenal) apartment last week, they were a breath of fresh air. I'm not really sure where Allie found Sam at, probably from alien planet full of ridiculously chivalrous men who are the most thoughtful creatures ever created, but he blew me away with his kindness. A couple months ago I has the pleasure of meeting with these two prior to them trusting me with their best day ever; I left the meeting praying to the good Lord above they would choose me because their love and personalities are one of a kind.

Their relationship began by a serious of small-world coincidences that could only happen with the influence of something (or someone) bigger than ourselves. The phrase "meant to be" barley scratch their love story surface. In the background of some of the images inside their home you'll see red roses. That wasn't a fluke. Sam has a habit of sending Allie roses when she least expects it; like when she was dress shopping hours away in Chicago, Illinois. He's done that for her since the VERY beginning of their relationship and it's a trait I don't think Allie minds too much! To add to this and going back to Sam's thoughtfulness, there wasn't a threshold myself nor Allie crossed before him. All doors were opened and held by him. He even unplugged and removed wires as well as their cable box JUST in case I wanted to take photos in that area. Really?! During the outdoor portion of our time together, it was warmer than passed weeks but still chilly. Sam offered his jacket to Allie multiple times and even has a photo idea of her with his jacket on.

One would think that Allie may be accustomed to these sentiments, maybe even take it for granted by now. But let me tell you, she is one of the most grateful people I have ever met. Even though I joked with her about being a "Real Housewife of St. Louis", she is incredibly down to earth and just so kind. They both make you feel like their conversation with you is the only thing that matters to them and I truly think that's an extraordinary quality, especially in a world where practically everyone is so removed from personal contact/in person face time. Even over text messaging Allie comes off completely smitten with Sam and attentive to what we're speaking about.

I could go on, and on and on and on, about how amazing these two are, but I'll let their photos speak for themselves (they're supposed to say a thousand words right?).

Allie and Sam, you guys rocks my freaking socks off. You wedding day CANNOT come soon enough! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of it!

(P.S. Ladies, yes, those are real red bottoms. And yes, they were a gift from Sam.)
