The Next Chapter

Allison. Where do I begin? I'll start twenty years ago. Yep, twenty. We played CYC soccer together and Allison always brought the comic relief. She is one of my most favorite people in the world. Allison is gorgeous not only on the outside but also inside. She is so genuine that you can't help but want to sit and talk with her for hours (I stayed almost an hour longer from our session than I was supposed to just talking in her stunning kitchen!). We re-connected a few years ago when she was preparing for her body building show (you won't be surprised). Since my husband has also competed, we had plenty to discuss! From there she met Sam. Oh wonderful Sam. Even though Allison is extremely easy to get along with, Sam is definitely the peanut butter to her jelly. After what seemed like forever (to me at least), Sam popped the question. And let me tell you, their wedding was TO DIE FOR; not to mention Sam's gift to Allison on their wedding day (but that's another story).

Once we moved back to St. Louis from Kansas City, I met Allison for lunch one day and all the memories from years passed came flooding back; it was kind of a "did we just become best friends? Yep!" moment. So when Allison reached out to me for family photos, she also mentioned she and Sam were having a home built. The first thought that popped in my head, "NEW HOME SHOOT!! YAYY!!". I can only imagine the look on Sam's face when she told him about the idea! But Sam married Allison, so he knew what he was getting himself into.

Below is the result. They and their stunning home belong in magazines (not just one, several). It's hard to not smile and laugh when looking at these photographs. Allison's laugh is so infectious, and I am over the moon that it's because of Sam that she's beaming. It's becoming more and more difficult to find couples who truly get one another. Sam and Allison Williams do. You can feel it through their photos.
