Purity seems to be a word that is used less and less often these days. Probably for the simple fact that there isn't THAT much that can be classified as such. And then you meet Josh and Kayla.
From my first correspondence with Kayla, I knew that she was unique in the best ways possible. Not only was I impressed with out organized she is, especially with only five months to plan their best day ever, but the sense of calm and peace that oozes from her messages.
As common practice, I ask all my couples to fill out a questionnaire about their big day. Kayla and Josh selected "No" for the "First Look" questions about half way through the page. That wasn't a huge surprise; what was turned out to be that they have chosen to save their first KISS as well. I was floored, again, in the best way possible. Leading up to their engagement session, I could sense that Kayla was a little nervous about it since a majority of engagement portraits have quite a bit of smooching involved. But as our time together progressed, the nervousness melted in to love and fun. Although they've only been together a relatively short time, Kayla and Josh gel as if they have known each other for a lifetime.
Kayla and Josh, I can absolutely not wait to share your special day with you and watch your family and friends bask in the glow of your pure love. You two are such a refreshment in this jaded world!
