Dustin + Lindsey

Dustin and Lindsey's story begins about a year ago. They went on a romantic first date; the kind that only happens in movies and fairy tales. Dustin took Lindsey for a boat ride and a picnic under a beautiful willow tree in Forest Park. So naturally, when Dustin was ready to propose just five short months later (if you have the pleasure of meeting Lindsey then you'll understand as to why he wanted to put a ring on it so quickly), Forest Park was a must for the location. After weeks of intensive planning and preparation, the day finally came. Surrounded by family and friends, including Lindsey's parents who drove down from Michigan for the occasion, Dustin got down on one knee in his police uniform and popped the question to a very surprised Lindsey.

Since that day in October of last year, their love has only blossomed. I got the pleasure of giving them a second engagement session last week; and man can you feel the love! It's the kind of love that gives you hope for the future. It's the kind of love that makes you want to love the people closest to you harder. It's the kind of love that you know will last a lifetime. And in a world where broken things are thrown away, not fixed, it's the kind of love that needs to be shared.
